This role reports to the IT Site Lead. Help support Office automation, and delivery of services for the plant location.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Face off to business customers ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Assists with incident/problem solving.
  • Work with internal resources and outsourcing partners to deliver day-to-day IT Operations, ensuring systems/solutions are meeting / exceeding availability and performance service levels, decreasing business impacting incidents and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved locally within the site.
  • Ensure an environmental health and safe work environment conditions by complying with all Company Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations.

Work Process Accountabilities:
  • Take leadership of all incidents and initiatives affecting site's IT environment.
  • Do what it takes to get business working including hands on intervention as required.
  • Identify root causes of incidents to ensure no repeat incidents and lower both lost units and lost work hours for those incidents that do occur.
  • Support local and corporate project implementations when they occur.
  • Ensure conformance and adherence to working procedures and audit standards with all Company Management System procedures, standards, and regulations

Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications:
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Personnel and administrative management skills.
  • IT-related knowledge and understanding as well as analytical way of thinking.
  • Experience dealing with customers, suppliers, business partners and support groups.
  • Highly team-oriented and confident appearance.
  • Able to cope with pressure, good manners and a solution as well as customer-oriented work style.
  • Proven team builder. Must be adept in retaining and coaching IT members and help build a bench of IT talent for the region.
  • Ability to work in office setting and production floor.
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with all employees maintaining a good attitude.

Hours: Mon. – Fri. 6am-2:00pm (overtime as needed)

Pay rate: $21.75 - $23.00 (depending on Experience)
